Not Every AI Company Is Getting a Free Pass Anymore

I’m starting to think investors are getting a lot pickier about the AI boom. Firmus just pulled its planned $5 billion IPO after investor support fell short, and honestly, I think there’s a bigger message here. People still see huge potential in AI, but they’re not willing to throw money at every company just because it’s connected to data centers and Nvidia. What really catches my attention is the gap between the big AI growth story and the price investors are being asked to pay. When a company needs massive funding to build out its business, people want to see a clearer path to profits before jumping in. I’m watching , and closely because I want to see whether this is an isolated case or a sign that investors are starting to question the cost of the AI buildout. I’m still interested in the long-term AI story, but hype alone isn’t enough anymore. Valuation, debt and actual results matter. Do you think this is a warning sign for AI stocks, or just a reality check for one overpriced IPO?
