I’m starting to wonder if ASML is getting a little too close to perfection. ASML is one of the most important companies in the AI chip supply chain because it makes the advanced lithography machines chipmakers rely on. The problem is that the stock is already pricing in a lot of future growth, while questions around valuation, China and semiconductor spending are still hanging around. What really catches my attention is the timing. ASML has been one of the biggest winners of the AI boom, but when expectations get this high, even a small disappointment can hit hard. I’m watching $ASML, $NVDA and $TSM closely because what happens with ASML could say a lot about where the broader AI chip cycle is headed.
