A look at quantum computing stocks IONQ and INFQ
A look at quantum computing stocks IONQ and INFQ
Alphabet and Nvidia leadership recently noted quantum computing is developing faster than expected. Analysts are looking at two pure plays in the space: IonQ (IONQ) and Infleqtion (INFQ).
IONQ is around $44 with an average $71 price target. Q2 revenue came in at $80.1 million, up 287% year-over-year. They use trapped-ion qubits and recently released a real-time error decoder that runs on a standard CPU.
INFQ has a $3 billion market cap and a $22 price target. Q2 revenue was $13.5 million. They focus on neutral-atom qubits and are securing government funding. They also partnered with Nvidia for hybrid supercomputing and recently achieved 30 entangled logical qubits. Both companies are still burning cash but showing solid revenue growth.

Quantum is definitely heating up. Still a lot to prove, but the growth numbers are worth watching.

I agree that the hardware is just the start for Tesla now. The software side is where the real value seems to be heading lately.

The quantum space is getting more interesting, especially with strong revenue growth across the sector. I’m curious to see which approach can turn that growth into sustainable profits.
