it is pretty impressive to see Chevron beat earnings estimates like that while the market is shifting around so much. i am curious if is becoming a favorite for those of you looking to move some funds into energy for more stability. do you think this momentum will keep going for the rest of the year?

Strong earnings are a good sign, but whether the momentum lasts will likely depend just as much on oil prices and broader market conditions as the company’s execution.

i really appreciate the dividend history with chevron. it makes the stock much easier to hold during these market swings.
