Tariff Refund Windfall
Tariff Refund Windfall
S&P 500 companies are getting more than $10B back from tariff refunds, but most of that money probably won’t go straight back into consumers’ pockets. Some companies are cutting prices, while others are using the cash to offset higher costs, invest in their businesses, or improve margins. It’s an interesting twist, if companies are getting billions back, should consumers actually see bigger price cuts, or is keeping the money to strengthen the business the smarter move?
The refund money could definitely help margins, but I think companies investing it back into the business may create more long-term value than simply cutting prices.
Yeah, I’m with you. Oracle’s AI opportunity is real, but I think consistent execution over the next few quarters will matter more than the headline growth story.
Interesting setup, AI demand looks strong, but valuation and execution will still matter.
AI demand is definitely encouraging, but at this valuation execution has to keep up with the expectations.
