earnings are coming up May 6, and there’s a lot of debate around what really matters for Snap Inc. right now. Most people are focused on North American daily users since that region drives the most revenue, and those numbers have been flat or down lately. But others think the story is shifting. Instead of chasing growth, seems more focused on making money from existing users, especially through Snapchat+ subscriptions. With millions already paying monthly, that could be a bigger signal of long-term strength.

Users still drive the headline, if NA users disappoint, stock probably drops. Subs help the story, but user growth still moves the price short term.
