Breakdown of dividend picks PEP, MAIN, and VZ
Here is a look at three dividend stocks highlighted for income growth.
PepsiCo (PEP) currently yields 3.8% and has raised its dividend for 53 years. Management is targeting mid-single-digit growth and recently expanded its partnership with Celsius.
Main Street Capital (MAIN) is a BDC with a unique monthly dividend structure. Between the monthly and supplemental payouts the yield is around 6.7%. They have never cut the monthly dividend since their IPO.
Verizon (VZ) yields 6.9% with payouts covered by $20 billion in free cash flow. The company recently made a $20 billion deal for Frontier to expand its fiber network.

that frontier deal for verizon is interesting but i wonder if it will affect their debt levels much. the yield is definitely tempting though.
