Cosa Resources starts winter drilling at Darby and Murphy Lake North JVs
Cosa Resources announced they have started drilling at the Darby project, with work at Murphy Lake North to follow. Both projects are joint ventures with Denison Mines, where Cosa holds 70% and Denison holds 30%.
They plan to drill about 2,500 meters at Darby to test targets identified during their 2025 data review. These targets showed alteration near basement faults. After that, they will move to Murphy Lake North for roughly 1,200 meters of drilling to follow up on results from the Cyclone trend found last summer.
The projects are located in the Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan, west of the Cigar Lake Mine. Cosa mentions the geology is similar to other high-grade deposits in the area.
