$LODE is turning old silver mining into green tech. This spring, they’re launching Vega 1, the only EPA-certified zero-waste solar panel recycling facility. It can recycle any type of solar panel in just 7 seconds, producing 2M oz silver, 3M lbs copper, and silicon/rare earths each year. Building a facility costs only 12M, and they plan 3 facilities by 2027. At today’s silver price, that could mean 500M EBITDA. The company is small, with a 200M market cap, so the stock is cheap but people are waiting to see if they can really pull it off.
