StockStory analysis on HII, PH, and GE
StockStory highlighted three S&P 500 stocks with differing outlooks.
They are cautious on Huntington Ingalls (HII). The backlog growth is slow at under 5% and EPS has actually dropped over the last five years even though revenue went up. Management bets haven't really paid off so far.
They like Parker Hannifin (PH) though. Operating margins are solid at 18.2% and share buybacks helped earnings grow faster than revenue. It looks like a strong cash flow generator.
General Electric (GE) is also on the buy list. Revenue is up 15.2% annually over the last two years and buybacks pushed EPS growth to over 43%. Margins look healthy there as well.
