Manufacturing and commercialization updates for QUBT, QBTS, and RGTI
Zacks released a report covering updates on a few quantum computing players.
Quantum Computing Inc (QUBT) is transitioning to in-house manufacturing. Their Fab 1 facility in Arizona is operational for small-batch photonics, while Fab 2 is planned for high-volume production over the next three years. The stock is currently trading at a very high valuation of 855x sales compared to the industry average of 5.5x.
D-Wave (QBTS) has moved its Advantage2 platform to general commercial availability. The system features over 4,400 qubits and better energy efficiency. They are targeting hybrid quantum-classical applications for logistics and finance.
Rigetti (RGTI) noted that their current manufacturing facility is adequate for R&D until about 2027 but isn't precise enough for full commercial scaling. They are looking into partnerships or building a new fab to improve qubit consistency.
