Looks like is officially joining the Nasdaq 100 on Jan. 20, taking AstraZeneca’s spot. Markets are closed Jan. 19, so the swap happens right before the open.
Honestly, this feels like a quiet flex from more visibility, more eyeballs from Nasdaq traders. exits, enters… could be one of those small but steady catalysts. Not sure if it’ll move the stock crazy short-term, but long-term, it’s definitely putting Walmart on the Nasdaq radar Anyone else watching how this plays out?

honestly it makes sense given how much Walmart has been growing their online business lately. it feels like they finally belong in that group.
