Autolus Therapeutics announced that the UK's National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has recommended their CAR T therapy, AUCATZYL, for use in the NHS. The recommendation covers adult patients with relapsed or refractory B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia. The company plans to launch the treatment in England and Wales immediately and is looking to get access in Scotland next. This follows their conditional marketing authorization from the UK regulator in April and FDA approval back in November 2024.
