Gold Fields Acquires Gold Road Resources, Takes Full Ownership of Gruyere Mine
Gold Fields (South Africa) will acquire 100% of Gold Road Resources after court approval of their scheme of arrangement. Gold Road shareholders get a special dividend of A$0.43/share, plus fixed (A$2.52) and variable (A$0.98) cash per share. Gold Road shares have been suspended; transfer completes October 14th. Gold Fields now fully owns the WA Gruyere gold mine, expected to produce up to 355,000 ounces of gold in 2025. Deal worth A$3.7bn was first announced in May, and cleared by Australian regulators.

I am just curious where it stands against their past acquisitions: for example, Yamana in 2022?
