I'm personally more interested in finding a company that is dealing with fission, since im fairly on the young side, I believe we can ride the wave that will bring us. Once a proper plant is created or at the very least demonstrate actual use and not just experiments this will be the next AI. What's more fundamental than infinite energy?
They talk about these guys are looking into "mass producing" these nuclear reactors, which if they're succesful could be huge too. Hedge funds seems to be focusing on more established names like and I'm not a huge fan on because they have government contracts and government work is usually extremely slow paced and sold at a markup, which inflates a companies valuation

$SMR just went through a 28% reduction in full-time staff. This is a bit disconcerting. This is supposed to help with saving money in Q1 but it makes me pause about future deals with the restructuring of the company this early on.
I'm not suprised to be honest, with the current state of the industry I would think that mass production isn't there yet. but it def has a future imo
$BWXT just IPO'd. It may be worth looking at over the next year or so as a buy due to it coming down off of initial price. While government contracts do tend to move slowly at time with a long time horizon who cares? The stability these contracts lend to newer stocks will allow for a lot of upward growth if the company pans out.
