How Long Can Tech Ignore Higher Yields?
I’m honestly surprised tech stocks are still holding up this well with Treasury yields this high. The 10-year Treasury yield climbed to around 5.3%, while oil stayed above $100 a barrel, yet tech stocks still managed to push higher. Expectations that the Fed could keep rates steady this month are giving investors some breathing room. What catches my attention is how much strength is still concentrated in AI and big tech. Nvidia was hovering near a record, while Microsoft was also moving higher. I’m watching , and closely because this kind of resilience is pretty interesting with borrowing costs this elevated. For me, the big question is whether tech can keep ignoring higher yields or if the bond market eventually forces stocks to cool off. Are you still bullish on tech here, or do these yields make you nervous?
Tech has been pretty resilient, but yields this high are hard to ignore. It’ll be interesting to see if earnings can keep supporting these valuations.
