Stocks Are Pushing Higher Despite Higher Yields
I can’t help but wonder if investors are getting a little too comfortable with this rally. U.S. stock futures are pointing higher as investors digest the latest economic data and keep betting that the Fed may have room to ease policy. At the same time, higher oil prices and elevated bond yields are still sitting in the background. What catches my attention is how quickly investors are willing to look past those concerns when rate expectations turn more favorable. I’m watching , and closely to see if this strength carries into the regular session. For me, the big question is whether lower rate expectations can keep pushing stocks higher, or if yields start becoming a bigger problem again. Are you expecting another move higher, or do you think the market is getting ahead of itself?
