I’m paying close attention to J.P. Morgan’s latest view on the Fed. The bank expects one more rate hike in December, but says the Fed could then stop rather than enter a long tightening cycle. For me, the interesting part is what happens to stocks, bonds and the dollar if that turns out to be the path. I’m watching $JPM, $SPY and $TLT here, especially as the market tries to figure out how much higher rates are already priced in. I’m not trying to guess every Fed move. I’d rather watch the data and see how markets react. What are you expecting after the next rate decision?
