P&G (PG) fiscal 2026 results and dividend update
PG released their fiscal 2026 numbers. Net sales grew 3%, organic sales were up 1%, and core EPS increased 1%. It is slow growth, but they hit their guidance despite currency swings and higher transport costs.
E-commerce is up to 20% of their total sales now, growing 6% this year. They are also using AI and digital platforms to optimize their brand strategy and supply chain.
On the dividend side, they raised the quarterly payout 3% to $1.0885 per share. This makes 70 straight years of dividend hikes. They expect to return $10 billion in dividends and $5 billion in share buybacks this year. With a payout ratio in the mid-60s, they have room to keep investing while paying out cash. The stock is not cheap right now, but it continues to be a steady performer.

PG's growth may be modest, but 70 years of dividend increases and strong cash returns make it an impressive defensive compounder.

seeing e-commerce reach 20% for a giant like Procter & Gamble is pretty impressive. it shows they are actually keeping up with how people shop now.

PG is definitely a classic defensive name. Slow growth, but 70 straight years of dividend hikes makes the consistency hard to ignore.

it is definitely slow growth but procter & gamble just feels like a safe harbor when things get messy in the markets. seventy years of raises is tough to beat.
