it’s pretty impressive to see LyondellBasell beat expectations by such a wide margin this quarter. seems to be showing that there is still plenty of strength in the chemical sector despite the economic headwinds. are you guys starting to look more at these cyclical stocks lately?
Results like this definitely make cyclical stocks more interesting, but I’d still want to see strength hold across a few more quarters before getting too bullish.
i agree with you. LyondellBasell had a great quarter but i'd like to see if they can keep it up through the winter.
it is interesting to see LyondellBasell performing so well despite the global supply chain issues. definitely keeps the chemical sector on my watchlist.
i really like the yield on LyondellBasell but the cyclical nature always makes me a bit nervous. it's a great result though!
