Stanley Druckenmiller bought a $30M stake in Revolution Medicines (RVMD)
Stanley Druckenmiller's family office bought a $30.7 million stake in Revolution Medicines (RVMD) in Q1. The stock has surged over 400% in the last 12 months, bringing its market cap to around $40 billion.
The focus is mostly on their pancreatic cancer drug, Daraxonrasib. It targets the RAS protein, which has historically been very hard to drug. Late-stage data from April showed a median survival rate of 13.2 months, almost double the rate of standard chemotherapy. The company is now waiting on FDA and European approvals.
Wall Street expects peak annual sales between $5 billion and $7.6 billion for the pancreatic cancer treatment alone. They are also testing it for non-small cell lung cancer. Given the $40 billion valuation, it looks like a lot of this future growth is already priced into the stock.

Revolution Medicines has exciting long-term potential, but after such a strong run, future gains will likely depend on successful approvals and execution rather than just expectations.
