Qualcomm may have found its next growth engine

is looking beyond smartphones as it pushes deeper into AI, automotive, and edge computing, markets that could become its biggest growth drivers over the next decade.

While Qualcomm is still best known for powering mobile devices, the company has been expanding into AI-enabled PCs, connected vehicles, and industrial applications. As demand for on-device AI continues to grow, many investors believe these newer businesses could help reduce Qualcomm's reliance on the smartphone market.

The transition won't happen overnight, but if execution stays strong, Qualcomm could become a much more diversified technology company.

Do you think $QCOM's next wave of growth will come from AI and automotive, or will smartphones remain its biggest strength?

AI and automotive could become important growth drivers for Qualcomm, but smartphones are still likely to remain a key part of its business for the foreseeable future.

diversifying away from just phones seems like a smart move for qualcomm right now. it's good to see them not putting all their eggs in one basket.

Qualcomm’s long-term upside may depend less on smartphones and more on how successfully it scales its AI and automotive businesses.

the shift toward on-device ai is a huge opportunity for qualcomm. i'm curious to see how their chips perform against the competition in the pc space.
