SpaceX (SPCX) went public in June at a $1.8 trillion valuation and raised over $85 billion. The stock is currently sitting around 5% above its $135 IPO price. Their main revenue driver right now is Starlink, which did $4.3 billion in Q2 revenue and $2.6 billion in EBITDA. They are also looking into space data centers in partnership with Nvidia. Anthropic is planning its own IPO for this fall, targeting a $2 trillion valuation. Their Q2 numbers showed $11.5 billion in revenue and an operating profit of $559 million. For comparison, OpenAI had an operating loss of $12.3 billion in the same quarter. Both are trading at massive valuations, but Anthropic seems to have a solid lead in the enterprise AI space with actual profitability.
