i'm noticing Teradyne start to bounce back after the recent semiconductor dip. testing is such a bottleneck for new chips so it makes sense that would recover as capex picks up again. what do you guys think about the long-term outlook for automation equipment?
Automation and semiconductor testing remain strong long-term trends, but execution and industry demand will be the key drivers.
I like the long-term setup. As chipmakers keep investing in next-generation technology, demand for testing and automation equipment should remain an important part of the semiconductor cycle.
