Many companies have started to layoff employees
Major companies including , and others have announced workforce reductions this year. Every single time there is a layoff, the stock rises. Kinda feels wrong tbh. Not sure how I feel about this

It's one of those situations where what's good for short-term earnings isn't always good for employees or the broader economy.

The market rewards efficiency, but it’s understandable to feel conflicted when that efficiency comes at the cost of jobs.
