A look at the big three AI infrastructure stocks: NVDA, TSM, and AMZN

Nvidia, TSMC, and Amazon cover the main bases for AI infrastructure: chip design, manufacturing, and cloud computing. Nvidia handles the chip design. They have a near-monopoly on data center AI chips and charge a premium. Even with other tech companies trying to make their own chips, Nvidia's CUDA software remains the industry standard. TSMC does the physical manufacturing. Making high-end chips is too complex for most companies, so the industry relies on TSMC. They expect their AI accelerator demand to grow over 50% annually in the long term. Amazon handles the cloud infrastructure through AWS. Demand is outpacing their capacity right now, leading to a $364 billion backlog. They plan to spend $200 billion this year on new data centers and AI infrastructure to meet the demand.

NVDA, TSM, and AMZN basically form the backbone of the AI boom right now, design, manufacturing, and cloud capacity all feeding into each other.
