Cathie Wood sold over 30 stocks on Thursday, including NFLX, AVGO, and AMD

Cathie Wood had a heavy selling day on Thursday, cutting stakes in over three dozen companies across her Ark Invest ETFs. She only added to one position, Tempus AI. Some of the most notable names she reduced were Netflix, Broadcom, and AMD. Netflix just announced a price hike for US users, bumping the standard ad-free plan to $19.99 and the ad tier up by a dollar. Their Q4 revenue grew by 18%, but guidance for this year expects growth to slow down to 12-14%. Broadcom is up 73% over the last year. Revenue growth is slowing to 24% for fiscal 2025, but the stock is trading around 17 times next year's profit target. AMD also posted solid Q4 numbers with revenue up 34%, mostly driven by a 39% jump in their data center segment. It is currently trading under 19 times next year's earnings forecast.

Looks like classic rebalancing, trimming winners and locking in gains after big runs in names like NFLX, AVGO, and AMD rather than a bearish call on the businesses themselves.
