Let's talk about Abbot Labs
So has taken quite a fall lately. However, it just guided to making at least $5.35 (at the low end) so this would put them at under a 16x PE for this years earnings.
Dividend is approaching 3% and it is a solid healthcare company. What are the downsides to this? I don't even understand how it's gotten so cheap when it's historical OE was always over 20x. I'm thinking about buying but wanted to have some opinions.....

honestly at sub 16x PE for Abbott this feels like a gift, only risk is if guidance gets cut

it is pretty rare to see abbott laboratories trading at this kind of discount compared to its history. that yield is getting really attractive for a long term hold.
