Nexalin Technology (NXL) issued a statement about recent federal actions prioritizing deep brain neurostimulation for TBI, PTSD, and Alzheimer's. The company says they were involved in advocacy efforts for legislation that expands research and access to these treatments within the VA and NIH. Specifically, they pointed to appropriations packages signed into law that support neurostimulation research, as well as H.R. 7091 which would expand clinical trials for veterans. Nexalin currently has a study running at UC San Diego with the VA using their non-invasive stimulation tech. They believe this government focus validates their approach and opens up future market opportunities in the federal health system.
