Some notes on AVGO, NVDA, and MSFT valuations and AI revenue
Broadcom, Nvidia, and Microsoft are showing strong numbers from the AI infrastructure buildout. Broadcom's custom AI chips are gaining traction, with their Q1 FY26 AI revenue up 106% YoY to $8.4 billion. They are projecting over $100 billion in AI revenue for 2027.
Even with Broadcom's growth, Nvidia is still seeing heavy demand. Nvidia's Q4 revenue rose 73% and they expect 77% growth next quarter. Interestingly, Nvidia is trading at a forward P/E of 22, making it cheaper than Broadcom at 30.
Microsoft is also looking relatively cheap with a P/E of 26, its lowest since 2022. Their cloud revenue grew 39% last quarter, showing a solid return on their massive data center investments. Data center spending across the industry is expected to reach $3 trillion to $4 trillion by 2030, leaving plenty of room for these infrastructure providers.

AI spending is still in full throttle mode. With trillions expected to flow into data centers this decade, it’s not surprising the big infrastructure players like NVDA, AVGO, and MSFT keep printing strong numbers.
