INKT gets $1.1m non-dilutive funding for pediatric cancer therapy
MiNK Therapeutics (INKT) reached a partnership agreement with C-Further, a pediatric oncology consortium. They are receiving about $1.1 million in non-dilutive funding to develop an off-the-shelf cell therapy for pediatric cancers targeting the PRAME antigen.
The deal includes a double-digit share of potential future commercial revenue for MiNK. The agreement is non-exclusive, so the company keeps the rights to use its platform for other projects. Researchers at the University of Southampton will handle the preclinical studies to prep the therapy for human trials.

Non-dilutive funding is always a plus for small biotech. It lets them advance research without issuing more shares, while still keeping upside if the therapy eventually reaches commercialization.
