Analyst updates on NVDA, MRVL, ALAB and software stocks
Morgan Stanley made Nvidia their top semiconductor pick again. The stock has been mostly flat recently, even though earnings expectations jumped 38% over the last six months. They think the current valuation is a good entry point.
They also highlighted Samsung as a buy after its 13% drop. The AI memory market is moving toward a hybrid structure, and Samsung is set up well with its SRAM capabilities.
Marvell got upgraded to Buy by Benchmark and Bank of America. They raised their fiscal 2028 revenue guidance to $15 billion, which easily beat the $12.9 billion estimate. Shares jumped 18% after the news.
Astera Labs got a Buy rating and a $250 price target from Loop Capital. They called it a solid AI hardware play for anyone looking outside of Nvidia.
Barclays put out a note saying the recent sell-off in industrial software stocks is an overreaction. People are worried AI code generation will hurt SaaS companies, but Barclays noted that coding is only 4 to 8 percent of their revenue. Customers are paying for reliable service and expertise, not just raw code.

AI demand still looks strong across the stack. Nvidia holding steady while smaller players like Marvell and Astera get upgrades shows the market is starting to price the broader AI ecosystem, not just one company.
