Brookfield Asset Management dips below $55 despite 19% earnings growth
Shares of BAM have dropped below $55 recently even though the company is having a solid year. Fee-related earnings are up 19% and assets under management grew 8% to $581 billion.
They are making heavy investments in AI and energy infrastructure. This includes a partnership with the US government for nuclear plants and a new $100B AI infrastructure fund. They also bought the remaining stake in Oaktree to boost their credit platform.
Management is targeting 20% annual earnings growth over the next five years. The dip has pushed the dividend yield up to 3.3%.
