Indexes closed the week lower, but AEO, GM and MU are seeing gains
The major indexes finished the week in the red. The Dow dropped 0.7%, the S&P 500 fell 1% and the Nasdaq lost 1.5%. Trading volume was low due to the holidays, and investors seem a bit cautious about inflation and interest rates right now.
Despite the market pulling back, a few stocks have been moving up. LATAM Airlines is up about 23% since late October, and LendingClub has gained 16% in the same period. American Eagle and GM also saw jumps of 59% and 21% recently. Micron Technology has rallied 68% over the last 12 weeks, and Goldman Sachs is having a strong year with gains of around 60% since January.

Despite the indexes closing lower, it's a good reminder that there are always opportunities. Lending club also had a nice climb.
