NANO Nuclear signs MOU to build microreactor at University of Illinois
NANO Nuclear (NNE) announced they signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign today. They plan to install and operate a KRONOS microreactor directly on the university campus. This builds on a previous research agreement they had with the school.
The company will handle the engineering, construction, and startup, but the university is expected to own and operate the unit once it's running. NANO also mentioned they are hiring more engineers at their Oak Brook facility to support the development.

Yo, kinda wild they’re putting a microreactor on campus. Curious how long it’s actually gonna take to get running.
