Earnings season is almost wrapped, but a few big names are still on deck. Nearly every major company has reported Q3 results, 99% of the S&P 500, and earnings have come in much stronger than expected. Analysts now estimate 13.4% EPS growth for the quarter, marking the fourth straight quarter of double-digit growth and an acceleration from Q2’s 12%. That’s a huge jump from the 7.9% EPS growth analysts expected back on Sept. 30. This week, a few specialty retailers, $GME, $AZO, and $CHWY, will report, along with $COST, giving another read on consumer spending. But the biggest spotlight is on $ORCL, now seen as an emerging AI leader after last quarter’s massive cloud-backlog surprise. $ADBE and $AVGO will round out the final stretch of reports.
