Summary of dividend growth theses for EPD, MDT, and VICI
Some notes on EPD, MDT, and VICI from a recent write-up focusing on dividend growth.
Enterprise Products Partners (EPD) yields 6.7%. They are wrapping up a multi-year capital investment phase, with $6B in projects coming online this year. Since spending is set to drop next year, they expect free cash flow to increase significantly in 2026. They also increased their buyback authorization to $5B. Keep in mind this is an MLP.
Medtronic (MDT) yields 2.8% and has raised its dividend 48 years in a row. Revenue was up 6.6% last quarter. They are planning to spin off their diabetes business to improve margins and are looking at other strategic moves to boost growth.
VICI Properties (VICI) yields 6.4%. They agreed to buy seven Nevada gaming assets for $1.2B, a deal expected to close in mid-2026. They have raised their dividend every year for the last 8 years.
