CME Group paused trading on their Globex platform because of a cooling issue at CyrusOne data centers. The outage covers all futures and options contracts including stocks, currencies, and crypto. It happened during the Asian session which was already slow due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Bitcoin and Ethereum futures went offline during the halt. Bitcoin spot prices dipped slightly but that looks like it came from an options expiry squeeze rather than the outage itself. Support is working on it but no specific restart time yet.
