Quantum computing stocks: Big tech vs pure-plays
Quantum computing stocks have had a strong year. QTUM ETF is up about 25% YTD and crossed $2B AUM. Pure-plays like IONQ and QBTS are growing fast—IONQ's Q3 revenue more than tripled—but come with big losses and dilution risk. Big tech names (IBM, NVDA, etc.) are investing heavily, pushing technical milestones and integrating quantum into cloud/AI. If you want upside, pure-plays are high risk/reward. For more stability, majors like IBM and NVDA are the safer bet.
