Canadian Pacific Kansas City (NYSE: CP) broke its all-time volume record for transporting Canadian grain. They moved 30.66 million metric tonnes during the 2025-2026 crop year, beating the old record set in 2020-2021. Total volume was up 11% compared to last year and 20% higher than the five-year average. Management credited the growth to ongoing investments in network capacity and larger elevators, which are helping them run more efficient trains.
