Earnings season is continuing with about 60% of the S&P 500 having reported. Earnings growth is tracking around 13% so far.
MicroStrategy (MSTR) took a big hit, dropping 17% before falling another 1% after hours. They reported a $12.4 billion net loss and have about $8.9 billion in unrealized losses on their Bitcoin holdings. On the other hand, Reddit (RDDT) rose 6% after beating revenue forecasts, helped by AI updates to their ad platform.
Qualcomm (QCOM) beat Q1 estimates but dropped 8% in extended trading. Their Q2 guidance was lighter than expected due to memory chip shortages. Peloton (PTON) fell 9% premarket after a wider-than-expected loss and declining subscriptions. Their CFO is also leaving.
Toyota (TM) rose 2% after announcing a new CEO and beating profit expectations. Estee Lauder (EL) beat earnings but fell 10% on tariff concerns. Snap (SNAP) and e.l.f. Beauty (ELF) both saw gains after strong reports, while Eaton (ETN) spiked on high demand from data centers.

peloton just can't seem to catch a break lately. losing their cfo on top of the subscription dip sounds like a tough spot to be in.
